If it's in Allston, you KNOW it's a dive bar. The beer's cheap (PBR's on tap), there's a pool table in the corner, the music varies from funk/r&b to nineties, the waitress is drinking with you, and the bathroom has graffiti. What more do you want in a bar? The only possible downside is that, because it's in Allston, the crowd is full of wannabe hipsters.
